Want to get in shape, but don’t want to go to the gym? Come and learn an art of self-defence and get fit at the same time.
Many people believe that you have to be young and fit to learn Taekwon-Do. This is not the case: Taekwon-Do is for anybody and everybody. It is with this principle in mind that I am dedicated to teach the art of Taekwon-Do in a family-friendly atmosphere with a philosophy of courtesy and cooperation.
Whilst Taekwon-Do is an exciting and interesting form of self-defence, it can also be a life changing experience for many people. After six weeks, you will notice a change in not just your figure and shape, but also in your confidence and awareness of your surroundings. You will begin to understand that Taekwon-do has so much to offer: both physically and mentally – not only developing the body, but one’s character as well.
Taekwon-Do Basics
Taekwon-Do is composed of fundamental movements, patterns, sparring and self-defence techniques that are all closely related. Fundamental movements are necessary for sparring and patterns, while both patterns and sparring are indispensable for perfection of fundamental movements.
