It was our want and intention to remain open during this challenging time, and to align with Sport England’s advice of trying to stay both healthy and active. Unfortunately this is now not possible.
As a community club, it is our responsibility as activity providers to you, your family and our community friends, to address as best we can the current situation, we find ourselves in.
To encourage everyone to stay active and continue to be part of St Neots TKD we are proposing the following options.
Virtual Classes
Each day and time of our normal classes we will be running our sessions online. Join us on Zoom and I will run both a Little Dragons and Main school class where you can join in while at home. We need your email addresses for this, so please sign up here https://www.stneotstkd.co.uk/class-details/virtual-tkd-training-class-request/ and we will email you details and invite you to each class.
I would encourage parents other family members to participate as well to make it family time.
Holiday club or All day training
If you continue to support us with your fees you will be invited to join me for either a Holiday club for the Little Dragons which will consist of half days or all day training days for the older students later in the year to make up for all the missed classes. We are still working out the details of this training such as where and when, as none of this we can confirm right now, however we will ensure that if you continue to pay and then cannot attend the training you will not be out of pocket.
Our sisters schools UTA Hitchin and UTA Letchworth and Biggleswade will also be running these so availability there is also possible should you wish.
We feel to have both a regular class to attend, whether it be virtual or physical, along with something to look forward to in the summer is a positive way to get through these unsettling and unprecedented times.
Please note: I ask you not to cancel or change payment plans from your bank, if it is your intention to continue training either currently or when this situation is over as the setting up of new payment plans can be quite involved. Please contact me and I can discuss pausing payments or discounting it if you wish to do a mixture of the options above.
We are here to support you through this, and our main objective is to ensure health and wellbeing for both parents and students. I love my role as a TKD Instructor and enjoy teaching all my students, watching them gain their TKD skills to pass their assessments. I am proud of each an every one of you and know we will get through this with courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit.
